The JDA146 utilizes multi-stream transport (MST) protocol, supporting up to 2 displays independently at up to 4K @ 30 Hz each with DP™ 1.2.

Increase Efficiency

Enables 2 monitors to work simultaneously with extended mode, expansion mode or mirror mode
NOTE: Mirror Mode using Windows® Display Utility and NVIDIA® Utility is limited to 2 displays.

The graphics card requires a minimum of DisplayPort™ 1.2 with MST+HBR2 for dual independent display output (Microsoft® Surface™ Pro2, Pro3, Pro4 and Book support MST+HBR2).

Special Notes
  • A 4K-capable display is required for obtaining the 3840 x 2160 resolution
  • When connected to a DisplayPort™ 1.1 or older video card, the adapter will function as a splitter, automatically mirroring your video source across all displays. Resolution limitations apply.
  • macOS® does not support MST and will only support mirror mode, but not extended mode, regardless of whether or not the video card does. This is an operating system restriction.
