Accounting Manager
Job Summary
The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial reporting and accounting operations of the company. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations while providing strategic insights to support business decisions.
Essential Job Functions
- Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide financial analysis and support to management.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications, Experience, and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Must be bilingual and able to speak Mandarin and English well.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, SOX compliance standards, and governmental accounting principles if applicable.
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills to clearly articulate complex financial information to both technical teams and non-financial stakeholders

- Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Leadership experience in managing a team.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
