Product Development Manager


Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and launch of innovative consumer electronics products, including USB-C accessories, docking stations, web cameras, gaming peripherals, and related devices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to market launch, and will be fluent in both English and Chinese to effectively collaborate with global teams and manufacturing partners.


Essential Job Functions
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, from market research and concept creation to production and launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, industrial design, marketing, and supply chain to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive products to identify new opportunities and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with company strategy.
  • Oversee product testing, certification, and compliance with relevant international standards.
  • Prepare and present product proposals, business cases, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications, Experience, and Education
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
  • Minimum 5 years of product development or product management experience in consumer electronics or related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of USB-C technology, docking stations, webcams, gaming peripherals, mobility, and related hardware.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
